Hi Gang,
What a beautiful day we had and the turn out was the best for our drives. We had 7 cars and 10 people.
We met at the Bi-Mart parking lot and left promptly at 10 AM and proceed to tour up Belfountain road
to Alpine where we turned off to head to Alsea Falls. We stopped at the falls and had a look and stretched
our legs before heading down the road to Lobster Valley. After many twists and turns, we arrived at US 34
and turned to the coast. One more stop to stretch our legs at Mike Bauer Park, then on to Waldport.
We arrived about 12:45 at the Breakfast Club and Bar restaurant. The food was good, but the service was
very slow and it took close to 2 hours for lunch, so we cancelled the museum trip and our group split into two,
one group took 34 home and the other going north on 101. A few stops an the way home and a pleasant drive done.
I believe that I covered between 140 and 150 miles for the day.
